The League of Women Voters offers two opportunities to get to know the candidates for the May 10 election:
Tuesday, April 12
Bolivar Community Center auditorium (60 Panama St., Harpers Ferry).
7:00-8:00 pm – Board of Education candidates
8:00-9:00 pm – Magistrate Court judge candidates
Wednesday, April 20
Robert C. Byrd Center Auditorium (213 N. King St., Shepherdstown)
6:30-7:00 pm – Soil Conservation District Supervisor candidates
7:00-8:00 pm – Family Court judge (District 24) candidates
8:00-9:00 pm – Circuit Court judge (District 23) candidates
Primary Election Day is May 10, from 6:30 am – 7:30 pm. The last day to register is April 16, and early voting begins April 27.
NOTE: For these non-partisan positions, May 10 is the only election; they will not be on the ballot in November.
